It is hard to believe that the Winter Festival of Lights is already upon us! The hard working Winter Festival of Lights staff have been working throughout the year to make sure that this year’s lights and events are just as special as you remember them to be! Niagara Falls International Marathon

It’s back! One of the largest events in the area, the Niagara Falls International Marathon is happening this year October 21st. This marathon is one of the only marathons in the world that start in one country and finish in another; start line in Buffalo, NY and finish in Niagara Falls, ON. The marathon originally started in 1974 and was relaunched in 1996, going strong now for the last 16 years. Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival

From Friday October 5th until 8th you can visit over 125 selected vendors at Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival. You will find pottery, paintings, hand crafted jewellery, gardening tips and tools as well as one of my personal favourites the birds of prey demonstration. This festival is going on its 38th year and has always been an autumn favourite! With the cooler breeze blowing in, everyone bundles in their sweaters and heads out to the beautiful Ball’s Falls for the day.
