Valentine’s Day in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls.. the honey moon capital of the world! Valentine’s Day can be a stressful time, trying to plan the perfect day for your loved one. In Niagara Falls, there is a ton of different ways for you to celebrate this special day… no matter what your budget is.

On Valentine’s Day, I think something that is a little out of the ordinary but fun is the best way to go. For me, you don’t have to be super cheesy romantic to win my heart. A few recommendations that I would enjoy (hint hint for anyone looking to be my Valentine): visit some wineries, nothing like a good class of wine with good company, go skating on the Rink at the Brink, cuddling up after the cold would be so romantic, cook dinner for your loved one, it’s the effort that counts but if it would help if it was edible, find something quirky to do.. bowl, mini-putt, visit a museum, take a walk through Niagara-on-the-Lake or relive your first date! You don’t necessarily have to go with the stereotypical Valentine’s Day celebration; just find something that you will both enjoy!

Of course, there is always the high end, romantic dinners in Niagara Falls. Most restaurants will have a special menu for this week or for Valentine’s Day. Prices can range from $50/person to $120/person.. just make sure you know what you are signing up for before you get the bill. A few examples of some places offering Valentine’s dinners: Elements, Casa Mia Ristorante, Milestones, Terraping Grille, Peller Estates Winery, and Tiara.

And if all else fails… buy some flowers, share some chocolate and write out a nice card! Jewellery seems to be popular choice too! Whatever you decide to do, have fun with your loved one.. whether that’s a date or a night out with friends! Happy Valentine’s Day!
